why we need ranks

i didn't say that they were bottom, and i didn't say anything about old row/ new row. zeta is often ranked higher than some old row houses, and for good reason. they are well respected and have fun, therefore they are placed high in the ranks and have a good social scene. same goes for pi phi and often aphi. they're usually ranked well, bc they're well ranked houses. all you did was re-prove my point haha

I don't think so. You said pnms need ranks to know where they will fit. I agree to a point,but then you said "top tier" have the most social life and fun. Top tier on Greek Rank doesn't not necessarily equate to that in real life.Period. AGD and KD disprove this when compared to the houses listed in comment #1. Those houses have full social calendars, as do others,and they are not ranked top tier. It isn't out of proportion.

It's not like "oh ur banned from these tailgates and date parties" it's more of like "pledges feel pressured to bring girls from top tier sororities as their dates" This is usually only true for university frats with tough pledgeship tho. And honestly if you're hot, it doesn't matter what your letters say. Also when you're in an OR sorority + zeta and aphi you're going to have a full social calendar (with top fraternities) during pledge party and swap season so the chances of meeting a guy to take you as a gameday date and date party date is way way higher than those in lower tier sororities. If all fails and you find yourself not getting ask to date parties etc jump on tinder lol

I wouldn’t worry too much about missing out on a social scene if you get into a lower tier house. You will not miss out on tailgates or swaps or your own date parties. The only thing is you may not get invited to top fraternity date parties.. I won’t say which one but I went to an OR week long date party and there were a few sororities that had a million girls there and others with none or just 1 or 2. You won’t miss out on in a lower tier house you’ll just interact with different fraternities

Some houses may get asked to a date party or invited as a game day date more frequently but don't forget the guys are looking for more than just a pretty girl by their side. There are expectations for getting invited and tbh it gets exhausting either managing expectations that you are not putting out or actually fulfilling the expectation so you get invited again. The guys of OR are not nearly the quality of the girls in any tier. Getting invited to take care of the guys is not the great benefit being sold here. And don't be filled, plenty of less connected houses have girls eager to step up and be the escorts as well.
