depends. some houses are more strict with it than others. but for the most part, you'll slowly start loosing privileges most of which are related to social events. i know in my house if your dues aren't paid in full you can't attend any date parties but you can attend swaps. but i know another house that doesn't care. if it gets to the point where you're just actually not paying your dues then you'll have meetings with exec/standards/whoever about it. and if it doesnt get better then you'll be put up for termination.

If you have a remaining balance, you have to pay it. If you don't, your name gets sent to a collections agency
