Did any international students get bids? By international, I don't mean Canadians or South Americans.

We got a girl from Poland too! How many went through recruitment from Poland? I can't believe she is from Asia and came to America for college!

First, there were no girls from those countries!!
Second, Poland is in Europe- not Asia!!

Did any of the international girls have recs?

The military ones did.

The other ones, not so much. But we're willing to find a rec for them because it's understandable.

We pledged a girl from Tennessee. Doesn't that count? She don't talk good or speak Southern but her cousin/boyfriend is cute.

Depending on where from Tennessee, that should count.

I bet she's hot. EVERYONE in Australia is hot.

It must be weird for her to be in a place where everything doesn't want to eat you. I've never seen a more terrifying collection of creatures than in Australia!

most of the ''international'' girls are just girls who are american but raised abroad. only maybe 2 or 3 ''real'' international girls from Norway.

So I gather, its not that important to have recs if you're truly international, i.e, not an American raised abroad. Is that right?

Most houses are forgiving of it because they understand you may not be able to find American sorority alumnae in a non-American enclave of a foreign country. But it's always better to try to get recs than to not.

it is very important since recruitment is so competitive. Those two truly international girls that have went through recruitment had recs. One ended in Phi Mu, and the other one in Gamma Phi Beta.
