Emotionally exhausting! I thought I had a chance at Old Row but I did not. It's fine though - happy with my options.

I loved every minute of it and didn't think it was as tough as I thought going in. The weather was much better than I expected and coming from the northeast I was really worried about heat. It was not as hot, humid, or rainy as I thought it would be. I loved going in the houses and meeting all of the actives. I loved the themes and songs and the entire process. Of course that might be because I had breaks since I didn't have a full card in the early rounds. I was very disappointed in my cuts because I would be a great sister and would have fit in and contributed to many of the houses that cut me without a second look. It was fine but I thought I would have done better with OR - their loss. They can keep the girls from my tent that they were after - good luck getting along! The smart and pulled together girls from my group were all headed NR.

I struggled with taking my list to 3 because I could truly see myself at all of my sisterhood houses and then was really upset this morning that I was cut from one of my top houses. shocked really but bounced back and had 3 great parties. thanks to the actives for all of the work - it was a blast. i can't wait for tomorrow to see where I ranked with my houses because I would really be happy at any of the 3.

I didn't realize how exhausting simply talking can be. My mouth was so dry and my lips were so tired sometimes that I could barely get a word out. Awful!!

I also really thought my high GPA would mean more than I guess it did. I thought houses like AXO, XO, AGD, etc would be more interested in me but I was dropped. I only have one house for pref, my favorite since IWTs, and I'm super excited to be there, but I definitely assumed my resume would give me more options than it did. It was hard to realize that's not true.

I wish I would've told the houses I loved how much I liked them instead of trying to be chill with them.
