Does it resemble an American flag? Yes. Is it one? No. Is it offensive? No. Keep on hating, though. Might find a better way than this, because it's not a legit complaint.

To desecrate the flag there has to be a flag present in the first place. There isn't. Trust me when I say nothing makes me angrier than people disrespecting American flags, but there's no American flag in that picture.

It has red and white stripes and a navy blue square in the upper left corner. It's an American flag except they swapped the stars for fleur-de-lis things.
How is that not desecrating the flag?
