any surprises this morning?

Had a full schedule but 3/4 of the houses I put on my bottom 4 came back, which is fine, because I don't mind getting a second look at them.

Dropped by APhi, XO, and Phi Mu. It's ok, I wasn't too attached to them so I'm not too heartbroken. I loved seeing the houses I had today though!

I was near tears this am but better now. ONly invited back to 7 houses, some OR some NR. I have top grades (4.0) a list of solid activities with lots of leadership and recs. for all houses. I am not gorgeous but I am cute and dressed well from a solid background. I am OOS from the north but thought I was having a great rush. I had lots of interesting and engaged conversations with the girls who came to me. Biggest shock was the active who put her arm around me and said cant wait to talk to you again and then introduced me to both her rush chair and a top exec (truly can't remember if she was Pres. or VP) as we were being rushed out of the house. It was the top of my list and I fell in love with the house and then nothing, wasn't even invited back. Crushing. This process they want me to trust kind of sucks. I thought the deep cuts were for grades and recs. this first round so I thought I would be closer to a full card. It made the day really hard when others around me had full cards. Wasn't expecting to be invited back to some of the OR houses that were on my card, but really wasn't expecting to be cut from some of the houses y'all say are lower tier. Sigh.
