True! More second choices than you might expect...but all are stating that they're pleased. It's NOT the end of the world. Btw, would you rather get your second choice and they really want you or your first choice when they didn't care about you? This is what we all mean by "trust the process". I got my second choice too and thank God everyday! Love my house!

The thing about cross-rushing is that it assumes every PNM in a pledge class is cut from the same cloth. In reality, there are going to be 4.5 GPA girls and 2.8 GPA girls. Loud girls and shy girls. Southern girls and northern girls. Girls that go out 5 days a week and girls that don't drink at all. Christian girls and pretty girls and short girls and athletic girls and artsy girls. Girls that have wanted to be in a sorority since they were conceived and girls that honestly aren't sure why they rushed at all.
Because there are so many PNMs it's easy to try to put as many of them into categories, and assign those categories to houses. In truth we actually have 2,647 completely unique individuals to meet this August and where they pref is entirely unpredictable! What a blessing it is to have SO MANY girls with their own stories to tell!! Stay excited, stay calm, and we can't wait to meet you!
