My first house during rush was AXO and I chocked on an ice cube while drinking their water. The rest of the conversation was me coughing

Did they seriously do this? Like through the whole party? I've seen this several times but I thought it was a joke

I rushed in 2016 and I can tell you that they 100% did this. It's one thing if they're playing music while all the girls are coming in and getting situated but it was really hard to hear and focus on the conversation with a heavy bass blasting in the background.

100% me and my friend are in different rho chi groups and it was playing during both of ours. We both thought it was a mistake until we talked about it with eachother.

At pref round I tried to take a sip of my drink and dramatically spilled it all over my dress while the recruitment chair was speaking right in front of me - I got a bid

I was with a couple of my sisters talking to some pnm's during OHD when this GAWD awful smell hit our group, I'm talking about I gagged a little and couldn't get the smell out of my nose. I'm trying to hold a conversation, but I had tears in my eyes....and so did the pnm. Everyone kinda had this awkward smile on their face, like whatever that smell is, please go away. It lingered for like 5 minutes. After the round was over, one my sisters in the group confided that she had scarfed down Mexican the night before and was having the worst gas. She was trying not to release but was cramping so bad, she had to and rushed to the bathroom to make sure she hadn't sharted herself. I felt horrible for her but had initially thought it was one of the nervous pnm's. Note to sisters and pnm's. Avoid Mexican during recruitment. Lol

Because the girls that sit on this site are jealous and bitter. It is so pathetic and embarrassing for UA and the PNM's see right through it.

I'm an active and last year during recruitment, I was talking with a PNM and was going to introduce her to our president and an exec council member since they were walking by (it is protocol for us to do this, especially if it's a girl we are interested in). Well my brain didn't keep up with what my mouth wanted to say, and I introduced our president as the exec member, and the exec member as the president. Needless to say I was mortified.

On preference day one of the houses had all the PNMs stand in the foyer while actives stood around the foyer and on the stairs singing their songs at the beginning of the party. While the actives are singing the sentimental pref songs, the girl standing next to me grabbed my thigh and started pulling at the bottom of my dress. I look over right as the girl passes out. I grabbed her and was trying to support probably 140lbs of dead weight and start making awkward eyecontact and mouthing hey help to the girls on the stairs (which happened to be the seniors). The seniors saw me and stopped singing and came and got the girl.
