christian girls

I am so tired of people referring to some sororities as Christian because:

1. That isn't a bad thing
2. All sororities here have a lot of Christian girls
3. Some who spit it in your face are not walking the walk

It is very true that some sororities here are less wild but that does not make them more Christian. You have to look for who is actually walking the walk -- and by that where a sisterhood is happy and supportive of each other and their fellow classmates, where people do not say one thing or post one thing and then take the walk of shame and look down on others. Being a Christian is about living as a Christian and being tolerant of other religions and diversity. It is not about being judgmental or hypocritical. It is not about showing up on Sunday to redeem yourself or posting pictures of your work in Central America--unless you are living that life back home on the daily.

With 400 members, no sorority is going to be perfect and you can't judge a whole group bc of a few bad seeds. Some of the ones people like to pick on are in fact, living that way as a whole.

You can know what's real by looking at how they treat each other and you. There is nothing wrong with aspiring to be more than a 24 hour party... but you also can't treat that person as a sinner or the sinner condemn the Christian.
