an apology

To the PNMs on this site, on behalf of the Greek community: I'm so so sorry.
I'm sorry that this site is one for your first experiences with sororities at Alabama. I'm sorry for all the hatred spewed on this vile site. As someone who's in a sorority that is frequently posted about, and not portrayed in a good light, this site upsets me. I'm constantly disgusted at what's said on this site, about my chapter and so many others. Considering I'm obsessed with my sorority and even I start to see my sorority in a negative light after reading some of the things said, I can't imagine what some of you think after reading it, considering you likely don't have any previous knowledge about it. And that breaks my heart.
I understand that you read this site for information on the most prolific sorority recruitment in the country. I get it, I did the same. But please, for the love of God, stop reading it. Go into rush with an open mind, forget what this site has tried to convince you of. There is nothing more than hate being posted.
