Wait until you get here. You should never rely on Greek rank for honest opinions. Most posts have an agenda. That being said Greek life at Alabama is fun no matter where you end up.

I can truly say that ranks do not matter. When you come through rush please try not to play the name game - this site tends to over exaggerate both the pros and the cons of ALL houses. Each house here offers you the same exact stuff: a community of 400+ girls, social calendar, academic encouragement, etc... What you do with all those things is what really shapes your experience. There are girls in "top" houses that don't feel connected with their sisters/don't have good grades/aren't too social while there are girls in "bottom" houses that feel very connected with their sisters/have great grades/and flourish socially.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that a top house does not guarantee a happy and successful sorority experience and a bottom house does not hold you back. Every single house here is amazing and you'd be blessed to receive a bid from any of them.

For the most part, "fun" is what makes up the middle tiers.

Alabama/adjacent southern states, grades and Christian focused houses get top billings

Good looking, fun, party OOS the mid ranks.

The lower ranks the a mixed bag.
