aphi/zta and piphi do not cross rush!

I don't know why this misconception is so prominent (especially on this website...) alpha phi and zeta do cross rush but pi phi does not with either of them. yes pi phi has some pretty girls (as does every house) but it's clear that they went more for grades this year above anything else. Read the facts. You will find that they do not go for the same girls.

No offense, but who really cares? There will always be girls being cross rushed by a wide variety of houses. When I went through rush I was heavily recruited by Phi Mu, Chi O and Pi Phi. Those are three very diff houses, although Chi O and Pi Phi are similar in their "chill house" vibe, while Phi Mu is known for being very high maintenance/high drama. There's no set rule for.the types of girls each house is looking for.

Cross Rushing is a term used by sororities during rush. Basically what it is is when at least two sororities (usually within the same tier) heavily rush the same PNMs. Every recruitment, every sorority has a list of girls they really want to pledge, and when two sororities or more have a handful of the same PNMs on their lists that's cross rushing.
Now of course all the sororities see the same girls, but later on in the week once all the girls have been filtered through, that's when things get more competitive and that's when you tend to see which houses are going after which girls. Also, some girls are not cross rushed whatsoever. As the girl above who said she ended with PM, XO, and PBP, sometimes it just so happens that you're left with a broad array of houses.
