spring rush?
by: curiousIs there a spring rush for fraternities? Is fall the only time to rush? If I'm coming from out of state I was thinking it might be better to meet people for a semester before I rush. What do you think?

Do you mean you're planning on rushing in the fall but you still want to attending this Spring's rush parties? If so, then yes, there are Spring rush parties and there are also rush parties throughout the summer. If you want to attend the parties you'll need to contact the rush chairs of the frats you're interested in and ask for the dates.

Oh okay. So basically there is Spring rush for students but keep in mind that the only houses that participate in Spring rush are on Jefferson. So if you're concerned about getting a house that's "highly ranked" then Spring rush wouldn't be the way to go. Honestly I'd suggest just going through fall rush. All the houses participate in fall rush and you'll be able to talk to guys from houses on Univ Blvd. There are a lot of guys that come from OOS and don't know anyone else rushing, so if that's why you want to wait a semester, that's not a good reason.
