dropping
by: CuriousLooking through fb, ig pictures of seniors in their respective sororities...I can't help but notice how few members are in senior pictures together? If pledge classes have been well over 100 for years what happened to all the other girls in their PC? Do that many drop their sorority, out of school, transfer, or just aren't in the pictures?

It's not uncommon to lose up to half of your original PC by the time you are a senior. Most of the girls go into another school, like leave for nursing, are student teaching, or at an internship. Several end up transferring or leaving school all together, and of course there are ones that drop for a lot of different reasons. And a fair amount of girls may still be an active member but have pulled back from sorority life and are focused on taking their hardest classes, life after college, other extracurricular activities, or serious relationships. Most every sorority is missing at least 50-100 members during rush so "pledge class pictures" from the week or bid day are always smaller than they actually are.
