I was surprised by the less than strong in state (non mb) crew Tridelt pulled this year. They did pretty well with oos though. Went more party than usual.

How the heck can you "compare" anything unless you went through rush last fall and didn't get a bid or dropped, and then rushed again this fall. Which would mean you have definite problems with some houses that dropped you early both times. If you didn't rush last fall too, then your "compared to how they normally do" is biased by what you read on this site, which is a joke.
I'm a new sister and I happened to have enjoyed rush parties this year at ZTA, XO, DDD, KD, DG, ADPi, and PBP (even without a house) best. Can I compare them to anything, nope, just my own opinion.

when you compare each house to how they did over the past 2-3 years, it makes total sense. 3 years ago girls would cry on the run back to gphi, so comparably, they're killing it. look at each house and compare how they're doing RIGHT NOW, to the past couple of years. i'm a junior who's been around to see this, not a pnm. phi mu had a horrible rush last year, so comparably.. they killed it this year too.

The fact that not every girl was crying on their way to gphi house makes them impressive? One way to look at it. Reality is gphi pledge class is no better than theta or AOPI - but if that means they are killing it - then you go Gamma phi!! Job well done!

Yes, it does make them impressive, because they've bettered themselves. This goes for any house, not just gphi. This year they could have had girls not even show up like 3-4 years ago, but instead their girls seemed happy and excited. Individual growth is impressive even if it might not be conventionally impressive when compared to houses like axo or kappa, which no one expects anyway

To me it's interesting how every time G Phi gets a favorable mention the same person comments that they're still terrible or they're the ones complimenting themselves. Idk who is commenting, but this to me is obviously somebody's attempt to convince people that some other house is not on the bottom. ha ha!

G Phi used to be a bottom house and were kind of equated with houses like Theta, DZ, DG, AOP, etc. Slowly they've pulled themselves up some and have a new house. People have noticed that they're doing better and have made comments. With those favorable comments come the backlash of alums whose houses are closer to the bottom if G Phi moves up.
It doesn't make any difference except to a few very gullible senior girls with nothing better to do than troll around on this site.
