Next round will be tougher. Most chapters extend almost all legacies an invitation to 2nd round as a courtesy to their relative. Chapters will cut almost all the legacies they don't intend to pledge before Round 3 as at least a handful of houses have national policies that legacies invited to Pref go to the top of the bid list. So there are a ton of cuts related to legacies.
And just in general - as the houses get to know PNM's better, they'll have a better idea of who is a good fit for the house and who isn't. So they'll start narrowing the invite lists.
PNM's who had mostly/totally full party lists for Round 2 will often have huge cuts going into Round 3. They got to round 2 because of recs, grades, legacies ("on paper" stuff) and now fit and personality play bigger roles.
