Umm...aopi won't take less than 3.0. Don't speak for other sororities if you don't know what you're talking about. If you want to know factual information you can look up the entering GPA for new pledges from last year on the panhellenic website, that will give you a good idea. For instance Aopi's GPA for fall 2015 was 3.4.

Almost every house takes a grade risk or two. The ones listed here are just the ones that are more likely then the others to take more grade risks. Houses like pi phi that take one grade risk per year aren't even worth listing here.

Hey freshman, if you haven't gone through rush yet shut your mouth. I had a 2.7 gpa, decently pretty but not gorgeous, no connections and I had heavy cuts. I went to Aopi for pref but just prefed another house over Aopi. They take bad gpas

Keep in mind pnms that hs grades factor in at least two ways. First, a "grade risk" is a "flight risk" bc girls that struggle in hs may struggle in college and transfer out bc mom and dad not gonna pay if you are not performing academically. We don't want flight risk. Second is gpa ranks. Some houses really want to be on top there. Others don't care as much about gpa ranks and so this is why you see some houses like zeta and aphi with lowered house gpa but very high social standing. So if you are low gpa but a lot of fun and hot, and if there are indications you are not a flight risk, they will want you anyway.

I know of a girl with a 2.8 who pi phi took. She had no connections...
