This is one of the top tier houses, although last fall their pledge class was not as fun and cute as in past years, but had more substance I think. They take a lot of legacies and there are a lot of "insiders" there. The girls I know in Chi O are very happy there for the most part. The only friends that were not happy there this past year were usually girls who wanted AGD, PM or AXO and "fell" to Chi-O. These girls never really invested in Chi-O and so you get what you give.

Honestly, some of the coolest girls on campus. I have more Chi O friends than any other house. The girls are smart and also know how to have fun. They deserve more credit than most, if not all, of the other houses

They are 2nd with the best academics. They are heavily involved on campus and can always see signs on they're house of all the success from they're members which is sometimes intimdidating. I haven't heard them to be big partiers and other than they're involvements and success you don't hear much else about them.

I want to not like them for some reason. But they are good. Might be best all around. I think their problem is too many girls go there because they have random connections and stuff. No real consistency. Like a phi is consistently hot, zeta consistently social, axo consistently smart but awk, pi phi consistently solid. Xo is just consistently solid too I guess. But for different reasons.

On best all around. They're smart and involved like AXO and Alpha Gam, plus they have the old-money cachet of KD, DDD, and Kappa. Their only real weak spot if you had to pick one is looks, although most are cute in that classic Southern way. The best thing about them is that they don't try too hard.

They try WAY too hard despite their "laid back girl persona". Sure they won the homecoming pomp, but the older girls sure know how to make a freshie feel like crap. They had to memorize older girls names and there have been multiple incidences where people have heard of the new girls getting "minor hazings". not the house for me unless you like girls who have in house drama or girls that get in trouble for drunkely destroying their living room.

I am an active and I was in no way "hazed" or "forced" to memorize any older girls names. Actually, I learned the names of the older girls that stuck out to me because I aspire to be like them because they are leaders on campus, determined, passionate and beautiful inside and out. I learned their names not because I "had to" like you believe, but because at Chi Omega we love each other and want to be surrounded by the people we Love, because it makes each day we get to walk into those doors even better than the last.

I think it's funny how sororities try to lie about these things. I literally had my best friend tell me about girls sneaking alcohol in the house and messing furniture up. Not all the girls are crazy. For example, the new SGA president is a Chi O and she is fabulous. However, I do think y'all try to put on more of a show on than just being authentic. I noticed during spring parties y'all recreated signs with girls' past achievements just to be flashy to PNMs. I know all the other sororities are just as involved, but they have a better way of celebrating yet showing humility about their own achievements.

I don't understand the hype with Chi O for the instate Alabama girls... Just because your mom loves chi o doesn't mean you have to sweet heart
