Theta Chi is clearly a top house nationally. They are top in the SEC/South ( UFlorida, FSU, Auburn, Georgia, etc,) Big Ten, (UMich, Purdue, Indiana), West (SDSU, U Dub, Arizona, etc.) It's surprising to see them this low at Bama.

Theta Chi is no where a top house at IU or Purdue. Top house at both are Sigma Chi and FIJI

I always heard about how cool they were early in the year which is why I was surprised when I went their parties and they sucked. Some Girls generally like theta chi but I really don't know why. They pride themselves for being on university and having a nice house (which I don't disagree with) but I would advise they step up their game in terms of parties.

Not better than any old row and probably not the best new row but they are cool. There is a lot of competition so standing out at all means something. I know a couple of them who are really cool guys who have really weird friends. Not the best and far from worst

They're alright. Only hang out with Phi Mu, Pi Phi, and Alpha Phi and if you're not one of those you tend to feel a little out of place at their parties. They smoke a ton of weed (which can totally be a good thing if you like that). Not fantastic, but I'd certainly go back if I brought friends.

All they do is smoke and throw dull parties. They do put on a good show for rush, though. Wanna kiss an ashtray, anyone?

Earlier this year, one of my friends got too drunk at the bars. She also forgot her medicine for a pre-existing condition and needed to get back to her dorm immediately. One of my friends who's a Theta Chi dropped everything he was doing to drive us to her dorm so she could get her medicine. He did this with no questions asked and was so willing to help; I owe him so much. If that doesn't show what kind of guys Theta Chi's are, I don't know what does.
