What’s the deal with C4 frats

All three frats mix pretty much the same. There is also heavy cross rush between these frats and they do a lot of multi ways together. Each frat has a different vibe though
Pikapp: throw a lot of parties in their basement. Bid for numbers usually but brotherhood is still high quality relative to lower mids. House is a little on the ‘frattier’ side. Mix primarily with kd, ddd, Aephi. Used to be close w AZD but not as much. Best mixing schedule of the four. House is known to be a little ‘creepy’ but everybody I’ve interacted with has been chill
Phi Tau: huge smoking house. Their annex on eddy is notorious for smoking. Guys are p chill but aren’t as ‘fratty’ and some are a little nerdy. Have been throwing some really big events lately. Emphasis on brotherhood. Mix primarily w axo, kd, ddd, aephi
Pike: huge brotherhood. I think it’s the biggest in the ifc. Don’t have a distinct identity but guys are all really nice and well liked on campus. A lot of cliques in the house and you can easily tell that during rush/parties. Non-problematic house that’s a great option for rush. Mix with aephi, ddd, kd
PSK: they’ve kinda fallen off the rails lately especially with the waka flop. Still a lot of decent guys in their frat. Have been cut from multis bw pike, pikapp and phi tau a bunch. Beautiful physical house though. Probably the best out of all four. Mix with axo, ddd and some kd

Seconding the pike cliques. I personally felt that the house was split between a bunch of fun chill dudes and a bunch of wannabe state fratboys

^talk about chronic retention rates look at pike. hella brothers drop every semester because they bid every geed. same problems with phi tau & pikapp

to be fair phi delt house widely considered one of the best on campus. psk brothers are still better connected and higher quality than phi delt brothers, but are at the bottom of c4 mid for sure

no one wants to admit it but kappa sig is also becoming c4 mid soon. About to join the ranks. Sick parties and they took a great pledge class this fall while other frats had 3-4 dudes

^just want to add that this is just based on my interaction with brothers as someone that’s been to most events these frats have thrown. Of course other people may have different views and you should check them out for yourself. But it’s p much consensus that pikapp is the ‘party frat’, phi tau is the ‘stoner frat’, pike is a mix of both. Psk is just kinda there
