by: PNMI don't know if I am asking this question clearly but, now that PNMs can go to 6 philanthropy parties instead of just 5, are the cuts going to be bigger going into pref than they were before or are the number of PNMs at each of the parties going to be smaller than they were when there were only 5 parties? Thanks and sorry for confusion.

Hmmm from what I'm understanding is the question, no, cuts before pref wouldn't necessarily be bigger. Last year we only had (up to) 5 houses before pref but we also had not yet gotten Pi Phi, which added another house. I would assume this would just allow you to visit one more house one more time. If anything, this might make it harder for the sororities to get the girls they want at pref. Going from 5 to 2 was one of the hardest days for most of the pnms because it was a huge decision. Sororities at this point already have a pretty good clue of which girls they'er hoping to get on bid day.

Also, when I say the cuts probably won't be bigger that's because by philanthropy round most houses have already cut A LOT of girls.. so a lot of people would end up with one or two houses at philanthropy round that they hadn't really wanted, but got asked back to and had to attend the parties for because some of their top choices may have already cut them.
