Fraternity bid for fall 2026

Is it impossible to get an SAE, Snu, Ka, or Kappa Sig bid as a Delaware/Maryland/Va kid? Grew up in southern family from Memphis/Mississippi. I am connected to KA and SNU at other deep south schools, like Ole miss (dont know if that even helps).

I saw that there was a Northern Va guy that got KA bid this year not sure what his connections are also I know theres some MD dudes in KS. Worth a shot, I'd say get connected whenever you get in with those MD dudes. Southern isn't just place its also culture

KA has a lot of Midwestern guys from OH/MI but idk if that translates to DMV.

No one cares. SAE has a few kids from Cali and SNu has some kids from Massachusetts. The reason why most of the people they build are southern are the amount of southern legacies they have and the people they went to HS with rushing with them. No one really cares so long as you are cool and have the money to afford Greek life.

When u say the $ to afford greek life what else do u mean aside from dues?
