What actually separates the “middle tier” houses?

Question is basically the title haha
From what I saw during rush, all these middle tier houses seem extremely similar in terms of overall quality like looks, friendliness/easiness to talk to, chapter size, etc… I mean ofc during rush, everyone is trying to showcase their best, but the way they talked about campus involvement, sisterhood, philanthropy also seemed very consistent. Plus as an OOS girl, it’s hard to know things they couldn’t talk openly about like parties and frats they have events with.
So between the following houses, what, if anything, actually separates them from each other? I’ve put them in what I feel like the order might be, which is kinda different from most of the other ranking posts here, so if you disagree with my order, I’d love to know why?
XO, GPhiB, DG, AXO, SK, DZ, APhi
Some of these might not even be considered middle tier haha but like I said, these all seemed about the same quality to me. Different vibes sure but nothing that really stands out as better or worse.
Also not saying which of these I’m in for obvious reasons, but I actually put my own house in the lower half of this list to specifically be unbiased. Cause now that I’m a nm, I’d rank my house as #1 but everyone should feel that way about their own house tbh haha

I can’t speak to all of these, but Chi Omega and Gamma Phi Beta are typically considered the highest out of this group, so your order is correct there, although a lot of people rank Delta Delta Delta in between them, with those 3 (plus AOPi above Chi O) as the “upper mid” tier.
1) Chi Omega - Chi O is historically one of the 5 Old Row sororities known for being the most exclusive and competitive. They haven’t lived up to that reputation especially in recent years; however they get more “known” in-state girls from affluent suburbs and top ITP private schools compared to the other houses you listed here. They also have more socials with top tier fraternities. They don’t necessarily look like the hottest sorority, but that’s because they’re more selective in choosing girls they know based on personality. Looks don’t always correlate 1:1 with ranking.
2) Gamma Phi Beta - also has better frat relations than the other houses (mostly upper mid frats - fewer top tier frats than Chi O), plus they’ve built a fairly cohesive reputation as being an athletic, energetic sorority. Lots of work hard play hard, high achieving girls, including both NCAA and club athletes, although newer NCAA athletes are choosing to join sororities in recent years. They take more OOO girls than all the top tier houses, and a lot of the mid tier houses too, but that strategy still works for them since they able to be selective with girls who fit in with their chapter.
In general for all sororities, the ability to be competitive and get the specific PNMs they want for their bid list is one of the biggest indicators of a chapter’s rank, although it’s ironically one of the most difficult things to find out since no chapter is going to advertise that they didn’t get the girls they wanted.

Gphi is not high at all. They are the weird girl stat. Similar to AGD. What a joke!!
DG is also not in this group. Good one.

Chi O is an “old row” house and is not considered mid tier, it is very competitive to get a bid. Aphi is also higher than mid, but doesn’t get a lot of respect on campus because of their bad reputation.
The “mid tier” houses at uga are sk, dz, gphi, pi phi, agd, and axo. Pi phi and agd only recently started pulling better pcs, so are probably a little lower than the others due to that. Otherwise, all 6 of these sororities mix frequently and have similar social schedules, so the differences just come down to the vibe you are looking for in a sorority.

APhi just stop already, it's not working, you are not higher than mid, you are lucky to be in that mid group at all. Try working on your values and chapter internally instead of doubling down on greekrank. Yeah, nobody on campus respects you, that's why you're lucky to be mid.

pi phi is absolutely not mid tier. They’re lower than dg and alpha gam and even lost girls to axid this year somehow. Frats are dropping socials with them like crazy

ChiO is not mid. Axo and Aphi are also not in this group. They all have very distinct vibes and associate with different frats. . I can tell you didn’t visit the houses or you’d know this.
Gphi is also dropping. They are getting some weird oos girls.
I’d put mid to bottom: SK, Gphi, Agd, DZ, PiPhi, DG
I can’t tell if this is a Gphi post or a DG. That’s how bad it is.

SK hasn’t been that high in years. Also putting AGD above DZ and putting Pi Phi above DG is absurdly laughable.
Do yourself a favor and get off this site since your clearly a boomer who doesn’t even go here

So now GPhi is on here like APhi was trying to say they are up there with Chi O? Just stop right there. GPhi is the lowest of the low mids equal to APhi, but those two are very different in vibe.
The upper mids in no order are AXO, AOPi, and ZTA, followed by in no order DDD, SK, DG, and DZ in the middle. GPB and AP are mid but they are barely so. I don't know where to put AGD but they are now mid somewhere in there.
And XO is top tier, not mid.
Also don't rank sororities by what frats do or don't with them. Sororities don't exist for the frats and your social life with them is up to you, not your chapter.
