Most Desired Srats

As you know, sorority rankings vary by college. They even vary by who makes the post! So think about this, Do you want a srat that is “good” at your college or one that is recognized as “good” overall across the nation?
(Do not base your decisions on only this. It’s just one more element to think about when visiting houses!)
According to the National Panhellenic Conference, these are the top 10 most desired sororities across the US:
(Based on current member & alumni polls)
1. Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ
2. Kappa Kappa Gamma - ΚΚΓ
3. Delta Delta Delta - ΔΔΔ
4. Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ
5. Kappa Delta - ΚΔ
6. Alpha Omicron Pi - ΑΟΠ
7. Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ
8. Chi Omega - ΧΩ
9. Phi Mu - ΦΜ
10. Alpha Gamma Delta - ΑΓΔ
We have all 10 sororities at UGA! Eight of these srats consistently rank in the top 10 at UGA on GreenkRank.

I would agree don't base your decision on this alone. The reality is the sororities vary everywhere you go. It is not consistent because schools are different and when the sorority got to the school varies. I think this is pretty minor in my opinion. Frankly those ten don't need the additional help of this post. They will do just fine whether the person considered the national standing of the sorority or not.

Again, that is all fine and good. But the reality is the real deciding factor is do you click with that sorority or not. Are they a place you feel comfortable at. If it is big nationally really has no real impact on you once you join a sorority. It might be nice but each chapter at every school is different. One at UGA at another college may and likely is totally different.

This is actually a very good post. It gives one the prospective to understand reputations that are national. No,not the only thing to base one's final decision on, but just another piece. PLEASE do some research! This is NOT A RANK OF SORORITIES! NPC put out a survey in 2022 and these were the results acquired. Of course it may be a majority of answers were from these Sororities, and it is dated, but it is just showing what sororities have the most involvement, alumni network, and where girls seems to be wanting to go NATIONWIDE, not just the small bubble of Southern US. There is nothing wrong w this list! It is just results!

Thank you. When you find a sorority you like the national rep and GPA strength are nice but that is not likely why you joined. I would not really let those factors cloud your mind much. They are just icing on the cake. Your number one goal is to find the place you fit in. The only way you can do that is by giving each house a chance. And not letting other decide for you. Best to stay off this site to be honest. It is just a bunch of people trying to pump up their sorority/fraternity by talking down on others.
