Don’t be afraid of elaborating

PNM: do not be afraid to elaborate on your answers when you are talking to chapter members. We remember girls with personality. Just make sure it’s your personality, not some kind of role you are playing. We really want to see a real girl. And it’s okay to say you’re nervous, we’ve been there, but then go on and give details that are true about your life. YES, rescuing that iguana and nursing it back to life story that happened over the summer is memorable! But so is helping your grandparents harvest their farm’s peaches, especially when you tell us what a bonding feeling it is for you to realize that the farm has been in your family for four generations.
We want to see YOU! Your passions, interests, personality.

Yep, it's not about answering a question, and then the next one, and the next one...we are not trying to get through a list of questions and tick some boxes. We are trying to get you to TALK TO US so you can show us who you are and what you're like. We're not judging, just trying to CONNECT and figure out your vibe.
