How does fraternity rush work for the guys?

Are the guys buses around to each frat house for the rush week events? Or are they on their own to contact the rush chairs and find out the time of the events or find it posted on IG or a website and get their on their own? I see some frats posting schedule of events on IG but 1/2 the frats aren't on IG and or haven't posted a schedule. Thanks.

Fraternity rush is not organized, every guy is completely on his own and some chapters do most of their rush over the summer and that is why they don't post. Find a friend and go around to the chapters that have posted events. And now get off greekrank.

So when you're going to these late spring/summer events for the top frats how soon do you know if you're getting a bid or not? I would imagine that if they like you they offer pretty quick and your rush process is over.
