SAE is one of the dominant houses on campus. It and Kappa Sig are the leading southern fraternities. It’s pretty tough to get a bid but if you are an SAE you know you are a top member of Southern society.

SAE couldn’t be more irrelevant on campus. The whole National organization has gone straight down hill since they made pledges be completely initiated within 2 days of signing their bid cards

Coming from a wealthy Southern family, I grew up with a few of these guys. Their grades aren’t the best, but the ones I know are great guys and I really admire the fact that they are exclusive to one sorority. I wish my frat was more like them.
