Football Saturdays and Greek Row go hand in hand at this Big 12 school. TCU is a mid-size private university in Fort Worth, Texas, and the Greek system is genuinely central to social life on campus. Formal recruitment happens in the fall for both fraternities and sororities, and it's a pretty big deal on campus. Panhellenic recruitment is structured and spans several rounds over multiple days. Philanthropy is genuinely woven into how chapters operate at TCU. Most organizations put real effort into their annual philanthropy events, and there's a competitive but good-natured culture around fundraising and community involvement. It's one of the more consistent things you'll hear about across chapters.

TCU's overall student body isn't massive, so the Greek community has an outsized presence relative to the size of the school. Chapters tend to be close-knit, and the overlap between Greek members across campus organizations — student government, athletics, clubs — is noticeable. It's a system that's pretty well integrated into the broader campus culture rather than existing as a separate bubble.
