To be completely honest, Betas have the reputation as being the "smartest guys on campus" by a longshot, but they aren't as smart as people say they are. Pi Kap and Sig Ep are very close to reaching their level (check the GPA stats). Beta has little to no social events, and they NEVER have parties. Very overrated.

While there are a hanful if chill Betas, the majority are not your typical fraternity guys. Lots of awkward guys that give me anxiety upon a simple conversation, but I’m sure if you spent the time to know them they’re decent dudes. Just not my type

Think of your average Beta male and there ya go. Lot of awkward guys that get in because of academic focus or campus involvement, not what most kids look for in a typical fraternity
