just an opinion
by: !!i personally don’t think you can really rank the houses this early into school. They will change a lot by the middle of this semester obviously to the end of the year.

True. True. Top houses choose girls that are going to make a difference on campus. They cut girls with grades below some cutoff that varies by house and only take girls with clean social media. Top girls also have connections, excellent recs, lots of activities, and are nice looking. The lower houses take as many pnms as they can that are really pretty. Those are their show girls for insta. The rest stay hidden and don't even show up for recruitment. I have a friend in one of those houses (she's a soph this year) that was asked to do behind the scenes stuff and she knows it is because she's gained a little weight.

Agree rankings are crap bc a lot of groups have certain recruitment goals and strategies that differ between sororities. Looks, grades, connections, etc. So you can’t rank them against each other when their priorities are so different.
And there is no such thing as a top girl or a bottom girl. It’s mostly about connections or exceptional resume.
All sororities have a grade cut off. Most girls that are cut from all 11 sororities have low grades and no connections. The sorority needs to know more about the PNM to make a grade risk exception. Which is why COB is better for those with borderline grades. Only girls with connections make it through with low grades.
But to the point above. All girls that make it through have something going for them. And some sororities have stronger high school, camp, legacy, etc connections with PNMs.
