how many invitations for 16?

This is the first invitational round, how many invites are PNMs getting back? I have heard of a couple girls with 12-14 and a couple with only 3. What are we looking at here?

I got 7 and 4 of which I initially dropped so I'm just very upset and confused.

You do not "drop" any house but rank them. That means you could return to any of the chapters after round 1. Be happy that you were invited back to 7 as many girls would love to be in your shoes right now. Also remember than you only need one on bid day.
