Age doesn't bother me as much given I worked a few years after grad. It's more about being involved with events, finding a group of friends, going out, etc. The only thing is I don't know if anyone house would even give a bid given my age and class standing.

You need to befriend grad students/upperclassmen then. Maybe age doesn’t bother you… but it should. And it will def bother everyone else. Freshmen girls don’t want a random 23 year old at their parties.

Like genuinely how do you not think it would be weird/boring to go to parties filled with 18 year olds?? Even the seniors IN greek life feel out of place at frat parties. There’s a reason that upperclassmen only go to bars/house parties. And you’re even older than they are.

I just don’t understand why you would even want your social circle to be 18 year olds. That is weird. Find friends through programs aimed at grad students. They will be your age & you’ll have a lot more in common with them & they’ll be much more understanding of your situation.

And no you 100% won’t get a bid anywhere. But you shouldn’t want one.

I was 23 years old on campus and a grad student and I hooked up with multiple 18-19 year old freshman. Obviously would never go below 18 but 18-20 year old girls are peak. I wish I can still be partying and banging them at age 40.
