411 North Woodlawn Ave belongs to PI LAMBBBBBB
by: Pi Lam
On a tree-lined street in Indiana University Bloomington,
Where autumn paints the sidewalks cream and crimson,
A house once filled with laughter, light, and late-night talks
Turns gently toward a brand new chapter.
For years, the women of Kappa Alpha Theta
Hung their letters by the door,
Braided friendship through the halls,
And left their echoes in the floorboards.
Though seasons change and keys exchange,
No memory fades from brick and beam—
The songs, the study sessions,
The sisterhood stitched into every seam.
Now comes the brotherhood of Pi Lambda Phi,
With hopeful hands and open hearts,
Carrying couches, dreams, and laughter
To make this place their start.
Not to erase what came before,
But to build upon its grace—
To honor every story held
Within that steady space.
May kindness fill the common room,
May friendships line the stairs,
May late-night talks and future plans
Float softly through the air.
For houses change, but spirit stays—
In every wall and window frame.
A home is made of those who care,
And love outlives a name.
So here’s to Theta’s cherished years,
And Pi Lam’s bright beginning—
At IU, beneath the same wide sky,
One chapter closing, one beginning.
