Not in dphie but am a senior in another low mid/bottom house, and have a couple of friends in dphie.

Pros: Close sisterhood, no drama. I hate the term bottom tier but lower tiers generally don’t have a lot of drama. My sisters are my best friends, I never feel judged. Also have friends in almost every other house at IU.

Dphie has a nice house and pretty sure they don’t have cold dorms? Could be wrong

Cons: Some people let the tiers get to them but as a senior, promise me when I say no one cares at all. I’ve had a very active social life and would never trade my house for anything in the world. I imagine dphie girls feel the same.

Hope that helps, and good luck at prefs!

you probably wont have the traditional greek life experience and wont really feel like you’re in a house, it’s a weird limbo where you’re not a geed but you feel like a geed
