The statistics favor the PNM getting her #1, far more than 50% actually. This is the only round where a PNM's ranks really matter. The bid matching process actually tries to match all the pnm's #1 choices FIRST and keeps going down each sorority's bid list to match these pnm's until a house reaches quota or until the need to go to the 2nd choices.
