Is it better to...

Get a bid from TPA who has no house or a bid from someone like SDT or DPhiE, which do have houses? I'm not from here, and I don't know people in sororities, so my chances of a top house are pretty slim. Just wondering what would be the best route.

I would try a look to housed because they have a location to meet and hangout. But I know there are great girls in all the sororities.

I think it honestly just depends on who you vibe with more. If you vibe with the TPA girls more than the other 2 then join them.

Well first of all I think it’s both bold and selling urself short thinking that you can’t get something you want, as well as already thinking you’re getting a bid from xyz chapter. Regardless, if it comes down to those three chapters you listed: if you want “the sorority experience” go SDT. If you don’t care as much about the experience, go TPA. Last case, go DPHIE.

SDT girls read toxic. Dphie and Tpa read similar but Dphie has house. Would do Dphie, tpa then sdt. Didn’t vibe with sdt at all.

The trans girl graduated like 5 years ago. Now an alum. She never quit her sorority. My sister knew her. You can’t kick someone out cause they have different political views . I am sure they tried. Honestly , go with girls you think you get along with. ALL the sororities at this school can bring friendships and fun.

TPA and Dphie are both great. Go with whichever one you get a long with and if living in a house is important, lean towards dphie.

I personally don't think SDT has the best sisterhood but if you vibe with them, go for it. None of my friends who joined SDT were happy though

Like people said above, go with the house you vibe with. Dphie had some really weird girls but most of them graduated or are seniors. TPA is super sweet. I don’t have a lot of SDT friends so idk

at IU most people seem to want the live in experience but if your favorite chapter is unhoused I don’t know why you’d let the house situation stop you from joining when you could still live with girls in your pc

I guess that I'm setting myself up so that if I don't get a top or mid house, I'm ok with it. I really do want to live in a sorority house, and I like both TPA and DPhiE a lot. I felt the least connection with SDT, so I guess these are my choices right now. I do still have two mid tier houses, so fingers crossed. I'd probably be happy in any of the housed chapters I have left.
