Where to rush this spring (Full breakdown)

After undergoing two rushes at this school What I’ve come to learn Is rush actually means very little when it comes to getting a bid. Top and upper mid houses are nearly impossible to make unless u have multiple connections and or legacy to that house. There is simply just way too much demand (rushers) to meet the supply (number of spots). I would try to find a couple houses that fit u personally and work on getting to know/reaching out to the guys in that house. Finally if ur a freshman pay attention to changes in the frat landscape at IU. Stay away from frats that are in trouble such as theta chi and Sigep as they are likely to get kicked before the end of the year. Additionally, avoid deceiver frats such as Pike. This is a frat that would seem to be top because of their national status and house. However, at Indiana they were always low and will be unhoused next year. On the flip side, look for investment frats. These are frats that are bottom tier now because they are just coming back, but have a strong history at this school. Delts and Kappa Sig are two new frats that are bottom tier now and will be easier to join, but will rise quickly once housed. These bottom tiers are significantly more worthwhile than a Tep or Akl because they have no history at this school and will therefore not be rising anytime soon.
