so true nobody makes life long friends in greek life at IU thanks to this toxicity

Nah, I’m in a frat and love most(95%) of the guys in my house.

“No one makes lifelong friends in Greek life” is not true. You have to go out of your way to hang out and get to know people in your house. If you only hang out with them during parties ofc you won’t make any good friendships 😂. How are you supposed to become close to someone you barely have any meaningful interactions with. This is why pledgeship is so important.

I acknowledge it’s not realistic that I’ll be talking to most of the guys in my house frequently after graduation. It’s life, we will all be moving to different cities, starting different careers, and having our own responsibilities and that’s okay!
The people you meet along the way are not necessarily going to help take you to where you’re trying to go. College is just one part of the journey.
Have fun, enjoy your time together while it lasts, and make sure to get good grades.

Joining was the one of the best decisions of my life and I have no regrets.
