^^^ Yes. Alpha Chi has lots of “cute” small-town girls who were 4-H county fair queens or homecoming queens in their small Indiana high schools. Those are mixed in with many girls from various large Indianapolis area schools.
Nothing wrong with it—that’s just who they are. I’d call some of them “wholesome” country girls, the kind that are in Honor Society in high school and still bake pies with their grandmas. As for your “southern” country girls, at IU that applies to southern Indiana. We have very few girls from the “South”—TN, GA,AL, etc. Maybe a few from KY border towns: Louisville or Cincinnati.
