Did anyone ever actually stop and think for a minute that chapters like TPA, SK, AEPhi and ADPi are actually improving and that people are IU are actually seeing through the fakeness of chapters like Alpha Phi, ZTA, Phi Mu? Those three have been coasting on reputations for years.

I was a PNM last year and my ranks were not very similar to the other PNMs on my floor because I thought for myself. I listed some so-called top tier chapters in the bottom of my list, not because they were bad chapters at all, I just didn't feel at home there. I am in a chapter I love, I don't care that the rest of campus thinks it's just a middle tier house. The girl on my floor who ended up in XO is now stunned. She's a sophomore who may or may not have a chapter next year. The girl who ended up in Alpha Phi who rude comments about the girl who chose to join ADPi isn't nearly as happy as the ADPi is now. I can tell you that honestly most chapters really aren't as different as you think. You see their very best face at recruitment and then it's back to normal. It's not about being popular or being cool, how about being happy?

Phi Mu just got thrown into this “fake” group after this recruitment... it seems like other people in their tier are trying to make this their new rep. But every single girl I’ve met in Phi Mu is genuinely a nice girl so I don’t know why they’re getting this rep all of a sudden. They’ve always been nothing but nice to me when I’ve been around then and they have a good sisterhood
