to pnms about being dropped
by: helpful
PNMs please keep in mind that if you are dropped from a chapter that does NOT mean that they did not like you or that you did anything wrong. Sometimes even after a great convo, the women you talked to could have decided that you would thrive better at another chapter. it is easy to have your feelings hurt but PLEASE keep in mind that the women rushing know their chapter best, and if they think you would do better / fit in more at another chapter - they have not only their chapters best interests in mind but also yours.
Good luck with recruitment

Couldn't agree more. Girls that are hard partiers are going to fit in at houses that focus on socials (look at the bottom of the academic rankings to find these). Girls that are super serious about their studies won't be comfortable in a house where they feel pressure to go out every night. We can tell by talking to you if you share the values of most of the members. It is not saying one lifestyle is right or wrong. It is just figuring out if you are a "nice" girl or more of a "partier". If we are a party hard house, we are going to be looking for party hard pnms, and as nice as we think you are, we will hope you find happiness in a more academic, involved environment.
