why is delta phi epsilon so hated on?

There are sororities on this campus that have been here for over 100 years and some girls come in with a lot of family / friends of family connections to these sororities. DPhiE was not part of this campus for many years and just came back several years ago and without a house (until now). That starts you at the bottom and makes it hard to recruit and also hard to get fraternity pairs. But part of brining in more chapters was to provide more options to girls going through recruitment. The DPhiE members I know are nice, attractive and enjoy the sorority.

People will write nasty stuff about other houses to try and prop themselves up. It is mean spirited and simply untrue. The ladies in this chapter, and other considered "bottom", are sweet, hard working and enjoy their sisterhood. Small minded people think it is funny to make fun of others. It is sad that they try to smear their reputations rather than boosting them up thereby strengthening the entire Greek community.
