I love how everyone bashes SK. It's time to grow up and realize that it's time to stop being mean to each other. The Greek system is under siege by the SLL and the University. If we all don't start working together, none of us are going to survive this. When one chapter fails, then another chapter comes under fire. We need to be better than that ladies.

Yes and no. They are growing their numbers however, at some point their national organization is going to stop subsidizing the mortgage and their monthlies are going to rise. It won't be as high as TPA, but it could hurt them in the long run.

Yes, they are. Getting a house shows a commitment and I bet they will do well this year compared to previous years.

TBH it wouldn't be hard for DphiE to do better than previous years. They have yet to make quota during formal recruitment, they are way smaller than some of the average sized chapters and they give out COB bids like halloween candy. They should be able to do better than usual, however I still think there will be women who drop before pref if DPhiE and ASA are their only two chapters. I think there will be women decline their bids on bid night. Not saying it's right, but it will happen.

I was one of the people who dropped before pref during formal last year, and I ended up going through their informal in the fall. Honestly I couldn’t be happier being in DPhiE. Being in a bottom tier house isn’t different from being in middle tier at all unless you’re only looking at parties. PNMs need to decide what’s more important to them: the sisterhood or the parties. I wouldn’t trade my sisters for anything.
