frat beef

As an incoming freshmen I always here about how other frats hate one another and I dont understand how. Is there actually any real beef between some houses or are people just saying this

They may not hate each other but all neighboring fraternities mess with each other it’s just part of the fun and usually tradition

Like above people said^ it’s more of a “friendly competition” type vibe than actually hating each other lol people in all different houses are close friends no matter which houses they are so you definitely don’t have to worry about your friends hating you just bc you joined a certain frat
