incoming freshman
by: HeyI’m an incoming freshman planning on rushing first semester. What houses are known for a tough pledgeship? Just curious because I know they won’t tell you this during rush.

Any house that actually has a hard pledgeship you won’t hear about on here for sure. I will say a lot of historically hard houses got easier this year because of getting in trouble and each semester it gets easier at IU. You’ll have to work and earn your way into any house so don’t wonder if the pledgeship is hard or not

Those 3 are definitely some of the tougher pledgeships on campus, but what comes with that is more pride and brothership within the house

Nailed it on the dot that the houses with the hardest pledgeships are the ones you will not hear about. To my surprise, my house actually has one of the harder pledgeships on campus, but it is not one you'd expect at all.
The houses aren't necessarily getting easier pledegships. Like you said yourself, the hardest pledgeships are the ones that you don't hear about. Therefore, they don't change much with the new rules because everyone is so good about keeping their mouth shut. These houses are able to continue because they are not under suspicion at all.
