Can you be in a sport like track or volleyball and still rush for a sorority?

Yes, just realize you may not be able to go to every fun event, might have an ovetwhelming schedule with required study tables, new member education, philanthropy events and also might not be able to drink at pairs.

Actually some coaches prohibit it. Honestly, depending on the sport there really isn't time to be involved in both. I know of women from the golf, tennis and basketball teams who were in chapters. You will want check with the coach before you sign up. I know that the VB coach is against it.

doing both IU sports team and greek life is hard. A lot of girls end up doing club sports which is easier to juggle. You need to be ready to committ time to your new sorority - with philathropies, chapter, parties!
