The frat is the best of both worlds because you get to have fun but it also looks good on a resume. Since it’s co-ed it’s a lot more chill and it’s definitely not a toxic frat culture. I didn’t get in on my first try, but I’m glad I came back because I ended up making a lot of good friends. I think if you don’t necessarily fit into traditional frat/sorority stereotypes but you still want the experience and you want to make new friends, this is a great frat to join.

I recently rushed Alpha Kappa Psi, and it was a great experience. The brothers were super nice and friendly and knew how to hold a conversation. While talking to the brothers, they all emphasized how they prioritized school and professional events, but they also love to have a good time socially. They advertised a great balance between professional events and social events, which is what I was looking for in an organization. I ended up getting a bid, and I'm super excited to join as a new member!!

Do not rush this fraternity if you’re a woman. Do NOT rush this fraternity if you’re a pretty one. Avoid rushing this fraternity if you’re extroverted. DO NOT expect to get in if they tell you that you will. the amount of dirty rushing I’ve seen just to watch people not get in is actually astounding. The people are extremely nice however behind your back it’s unclear. Something weird with these people for sure it’s hard to tell what but regular greek life will probably be better to you.

I just wanted to say how awesome the whole rush process has been and how much I’ve loved getting to know everyone so far. From the very first event, I could tell that AKPsi was different – the vibe was super welcoming, and everyone was just so genuine. It honestly felt more like hanging out with friends than a rush event, which made the whole thing so much fun. I’ve really enjoyed the chance to meet some of the current brothers and fellow rushes. It’s clear how much AKPsi values both professional growth and building strong, real relationships. I’m already excited about the idea of being part of a group like this, where I can not only learn and grow but also make some lifelong connections along the way.

I couldn’t agree more! This has felt like nothing but a home for me and the continued satisfaction and fun that comes from here is unrivaled.

This business frat is the definition of business in the front and party in the back. Definitely a good social and professional balance between sorority and fraternity life. They are selective in their members. Overall, solid frat very unique. Cool that it's the only business frat with a house.

best rush experience I have had, A lot of fun conversations with the brothers, and they showed a lot of interest. unfortunately I didn't get a bid but I would love to revisit next semester.

I went to one of their rush events and these people are dumb asf, they really take the business major stereotype and take it to a new level they really could not hold a conversation at all. and for a frat that's supposed to be about business and professionalism, they were hella out of pocket with some of the stuff they were saying and any time I asked about professional events all they could tell me was they do resume workshops. Rushing feels like there is a big group of friends and they don't even want you there. Honestly was the worst rush experience and I really hated being there, seemed like everyone else in the house also didn't wanna be there and had no interest in talking to any of the rushees. They are too weird to be this dumb and uninterested.

to start off this is coming from a members perspective, this was genuinely the biggest waste of money and time and i regret not leaving sooner. for the invite only rush interview they will ask u questions and no matter how u answer they act rude just to see how u react, even if u answer right they’ll still try to belittle u, if u stay professional you’ll be fine but it’s weird. there is literally no real professional value, the resume help is nothing special and the professional events feel forced and pointless. the rush process is ridiculous, u have to memorize a whole book with every brothers hometown and major and then get tested on it along with quizzes about akpsi history like founders and stuff which serves no real purpose. mid court and honor court are worse, if u mess up they bring u in front of everyone and embarrass u instead of actually helping. a lot of the “checks” are basically just getting u way too drunk, not even in a fun way, and then u have to clean everything the next morning. . socially it’s very cliquey, a lot of people already know each other and stick to their own groups so it feels like high school again. during rush it’s obvious some people get treated differently and if u do join and get a bad big ur basically on ur own. they’ll also ask u trick questions just to trip u up. overall there’s no real substance here, save ur time and money and do something else.
