OFSL Awards are irrelevant

These 4 and 5 Stars are just for filling out paperwork. If tridelta can be suspended and be awarded as a 5 Star chapter the same semester then someone tell me what is the point? I guess it shows you sent in your paperwork but literally how can you award a chapter that is actively being disciplined?
Some of the other awards seem real but who even knows what the criteria is

but it kind of does when you get the same award that a chapter standing next to you got and they have been suspended for the past 4 months

how can you call awards irrelevant? you can disagree with the rules on behavior but to discredit the ofsl awards is crazy work

She’s right tho and it’s ofsl discredit their own awards when they give stars to a chapter that’s suspended and I don’t think she’s saying all awards just the ones you can get if you’re suspended are worthless

you know what else reflects their 2025 record - their spring 2026 suspension and fall 2026 probation
they didn’t get suspended for actions in 2026 but pop off

so 5 star chapter in spring 2026, while suspended, but won’t be eligible for 2026 chapter awards in spring 2027 then?
if you’re handing out awards to chapters under discipline then what is the value of the award? you’re awarding poor behavior

yeah you would think but it devalues the whole idea of recognizing performance when a chapter is 4 months into corrective action and is labeled a 5 star recipient

KD got pan chapter president of the year, TriDelt got 5 Star, adpi got Pan Unity Excellence and Greek Olympics
