low fraternity vs. gdi

Is it more respectable to be in a lower tier house or a GDI? I don't think I could get into any of the top houses but is it worth my time to go for another?

try really hard to get into a middle one. but any frat is better than no frat

No way you're going to get more respect for Gamma Delt than a lower tier house. Also, it's not just top and lower tier, there is of course middle tier as #1 said, and that is certainly a lot more respected by other Greeks than being independent.
