There’s nothing quite like them. They’re the best chapter here by far. Visited the house on a Sunday night. They all shook my hand firmly. Each of them made me a pie and presented me with it. Lots of different flavors of pies. SAE loves theirs pies. After the pies, me and the president and VP strolled the campus discussing the ideas of Socrates. Then we decided to get ice cream. The VP made a remark, that, while he enjoys ice cream, he wished we could’ve just gotten more pie. Now that’s a guy who loves his pie. Then we walked the streets of Evanston with our faces covered in ice cream. We didn’t wipe the ice cream off our faces - a recommendation from the president. We then sat in on a gothic-style poetry reading in a local late night cafe in the neighborhood. The audience then had the chance to share their own “on the fly” poetry. All 3 of us decided to share. I spoke about meeting new friends across the neighborhood. The president recited a poem about the intersectionality of human rights and growing technological advances. The VP shared a poem about the intersectionality of ice cream, pie, and Socrates. All in all a solid night. Rush SAE.
